We travel by small rowing boats across the river and walk up to the historical Kaunos ruins, you can spend some time sightseeing before continuing to Candır, a very small and typical Turkish village. After a short break we will walk to Ekincik in an unspoilt nature conservation area of breathtaking beauty. The scenery is stunning and there are many opportunities to observe the local wildlife. During the walk we take breaks to eat some fruit, have rest and enjoy the scenery. The track is mainly through the forest and once you see the sea you can also feel the cooling seebreeze. The lunch will be on the long quit beach of Ekincik, enough time to relax and swim. The trip back to Dalyan is depending on the weather. By bus it takes approximately two hours, you will have further opportunity to admire the scenery. The boat trip is slightly shorter just 1½ hours, you sail over the Mediterranean Sea and through the reed delta back to Dalyan. The total distance of the walk is 12 km and will take about three hours. The road is hilly in places, it is mostly trough forest
