A short transfer to the foot of the Okçular mountains. The track starts along the nice smelling citrus trees. At the real foot of the mountain starts the narrow Roman path going up along the river. From time to time we take a break and enjoy the amazing views over the valley. Once we passed the pine tree forest you can have a great view over the Agla plateau, the opposite mountain chain. After we have filled up our water bottles with running mountain water and snacked something we trek on through Gökbel village. Through the forest, along a small stream. All of a sudden you come face to face with the most beautiful view on earth: Turtle beach, Mediterranean Sea, mountains nearby Marmaris and if the sky is clear the Greek Island Rhodes. Here we will have our picnic lunch. In the afternoon we go on to Turtle beach. Within 15 minutes we’ll reach a King Tomb caved in the rocks. We’ll stay a while on sea level after we will pass the last hill to Turtle beach, on the top of the hill you can oversee the whole turtle beach. At the end of the trek a refreshing dive in the sea, chill out on the beach and a transfer will take you back to Dalyan.
