Tour Programme

After the general safety briefing from the guides, we get on the jeeps, fasten our seatbelts and the safari starts! The first part is on country lanes through small Turkish villages. The area is known for its cotton fields, citrus groves and sweetgum trees. We have a short break as we pass through a forest and you can smell the unique odour of the sweetgum.

Let’s drive off road now, towards the mountains and Yuvarlakçay river. On the way, we will make sure you really “feel” the water of the river!!! Further on, we will have a nice view of the Köycegiz Lake and another stop by the water. Then, it’s time to explore the mountains in North. After a bumpy ride on heavy off-road sections, we reach near the source of the Yuvarlakçay; here you can see the water flowing abundantly. A short ride on to the small restaurant where you will be seated on platforms built over the fast running cold river. You imagine yourself in a different world enjoying your trout, chicken or meatballs from the oven.

After lunch the safari takes you to a different Turkey. Once again on more stable road you can enjoy the great views. On our way back to Dalyan, we stop to have some Turkish tea with a Turkish family in Mergenli village. You can see a typical Turkish village house and the daily life around it. After we say goodbye to the warm and friendly family, we go on over mountain roads to Gökbel, then to the sandy Turtle Beach. The crystal clear water is calling you to take a refreshing dive.

Not done yet! We have a marvellous surprise for you at the last part of the jeep safari. A short drive up to Bozburun hill from where you have a great panoramic view over the turtle beach, the Mediterranean Sea, the mountains in the Dalyan area. With this view marked on your memory we will drive back to Dalyan.

PICK UP / RETURN TIME: 09:00 - 17:30
